Calhoun-Irish Community Band

Hope this note finds you warm(er) and well.

Fantastic job at Tuesday's rehearsal. It was a great way to celebrate Dennis' birthday! Thanks for your work on Irish Tune and your great read-thru of Legend and Lore. It was rewarding to read the Civil War era arrangement of Nearer My God. If any other ensembles would like to be considered for performance at Concert III, let Tiffany know.

Thanks to the board for hosting the bonding time at the end of last rehearsal. It was fun to see everyone mixing and enjoying delicious treats. I like hearing Irish heritage and music stories from members. Tuesday 7-9 continues to be the fastest two hours of the week.

Recommendation as time allows:

-download a quality recording of IRELAND: Legend & Lore

-practice Irish Washerwoman at 140+
